What
Kind Of Shells Do You Use? |
| We
use Keller 6/8 or 10 ply, 100% maple
shells and 1/4" acrylic shells
manufactured by the same company who
manufactures acrylic shells for Lugwig and
other drum companies. We also offer birch,
stave and solids in many exotic woods. In
addition, we can do blended and hybrid
shells as well. If you have questions
about what we do and do not offer, please
feel free to contact
us. |

What
Kind Of Bearing Edges Do You Make? |
| Our
standard bearing edge is a sharp double 45
degree edge which provides the best and
truest possible sound and resonance to the
drum. The double 45 degree edge is also
the most popular and widely requested edge
and thus we use it as our standard edge.
However, we can produce any edge that our
customer desires. Please let us know
during your order if you desire to have a
different type of bearing edge on your
drums and we will create what you want. |

What
Kind Of Hardware Do You Build With? |
| A
great sounding kit starts with the right
professional grade materials. We use only
the best hardware all the way around. Our
snares come standard with PureSound
Blasters™ snare wires, Trick
GS007 throw-offs and feature
the customer's choice of our many standard
or upgarde lug
options. In addition, our kits come
standard with DSS ISO suspension mounting
systems and floor mounting cradles with
the customer's choice of Remo or Evans
heads included (customer also has the
option to upgrade to Aquarian
heads). Our standard
hoops come in chrome, black
chrome and brass and we offer the ability
to powder coat them in addition to the
other hardware for a fully customized
look. |
| |
| As
always, our customers have the ability to
pick any kind of hardware they wish and in
most cases, we can order rare or very
custom parts. This section simply
highlights what we include as standard
features on our drums. |

|
What
Kind Of Mounts Are Included? |
| We
offer DSS mounting systems as standard
hardware on all of our kits (a kit
consists of 2 or more toms with a bass
drum, if only purchasing toms our DSS
mounts can be included for a small fee).
These mounting systems attach to the
tension rods on the tom and allow the drum
to be completely suspended for total
resonance. We also offer Gauger mounting
systems as upgrade option, however our
standard mounts are very similar in look
and operation. |

specifications. So if you have something
in mind that isn't featured in our finishes

Tell
Me About Your Craftsmanship |
| We
pride ourselves on flawless work and
craftsmanship. There are other custom
builders out there that let kits and
snares go out the door with large flaws
and serious visual and construction
errors...we don't do that. We don't ship
it until we are 100% satisfied that it
reflects our craftsmanship and dedication
to quality. Unlike some of the other
custom drum builders out there, we care
what our customers have to say about our
drums and craftsmanship! |

Tell
Me About The Tools You Use |
| Our
shop is stocked with high-quality,
state-of-the-art tools and machinery to
ensure that your drums are built without
unnecessary and slightly construction
flaws. We replace items like router bits
and blades frequently to ensure precision
cutting and drilling and when buying new
tools, we buy only the best equipment to
build your drums with. You get what you
pay for when it comes to tools and
machinery, and we refuse to risk your
drum's construction quality to save a few
dollars. |

Do
You Offer Powder Coating? |
| We
absolutely do! We can pretty much do any
color or texture you can image. Our powder
coating is about $100/per drum for
standard colors (some textures and colors
may be more expensive due to availability
and cost). Please feel free to visit our lugs
page to see some powder coating
examples. |

What
Is It That Makes Your Drums Sound So
Good? |
| Well
we do a few things different than
our competitors that affect the way
our drums sound and react...these
differences are both the inside of
our drums and our edges...we do it
differently than our competitors. If
you have played a Shine snare or kit
then you know what we are talking
about. We get countless accolades
from sound engineers and
multi-Grammy winning producers to
legendary techs and multi-Platinum
recording studios. |

|
| |
What
Is Your Average Build Time? |
| Our
current build time is approximately 60-90
days. We usually run a bit faster than
those build times, but we provide those
ramifications as basic time frames for
build outs. Please be advised those time
frames can be a bit longer depending on
many factors outside of our control.
Lacquers and veneers typically take longer
due to drying times. |

What
If I Want To Change My Mind Once I've
Already Ordered? |
| When
you place your kit order and put down your
deposit, we typically begin the process of
ordering and building your kit and so we
normally do not allow changes or refunds
once you have ordered. WE DO NOT
PROVIDE REFUNDS OF ANY KIND, so if you
decide you do not want to proceed with
your kit, please contact us and let us
know. |
| |
| |
When
Is My Final Payment Due and Required? |
| We
typically request final payment within a
week or so of completion. Your balance is
required no later than 45 (forty five)
days from completion date of your kit. You
will be notified via phone (the phone
number you provided us) or email (the
email address you provided us) upon kit
completion (should your phone number or
email address change you must notify us of
this).
Failure
to pay your balance on your kit within the
45-daytime period will result in the loss
of the drum kit and YOU WILL NOT BE
ISSUED A REFUND OF ANY KIND FOR ANY
DEPOSIT YOU HAVE MADE. We have this
policy in place because we are building a
"custom" product specific to you
and your specifications. This drum kit is
obviously not necessarily the vision of
someone else and thus we may have an
extremely difficult time attempting to
sell that product if you choose to
default. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS ON
THIS POLICY. If you do not have the
money to pay for your kit, do not order
one.
