It is definitely looking and feeling like summer again these days and low and behold the Vans Warped Tour is back! Yes we are an official sponsor again this year and we couldn't be happier. We make the kit every year for the Warped Tour owner Kevin Lyman's KEVIN SAYS stage! This year we made a killer pink kit with all the Warped tour artwork! In addition this year we started working with SkullCandy as well and provided a kit for their stage. Brandy (also known from her acting role on the TV show Moesha and previous top selling records) has sold over 25 Million records to date and is making an amazing comeback with our new record "Human"! DEC 5, 2008 - New Shine Online Lessons With Mike Johnston
We are pleased to announce that Shine Drums has teamed up with the infamous educator/performer/instructor Mike Johnston to provide regular SHINE DRUMS EXCLUSIVE lessons right here on the site! The feature will be an ever changing unique and interesting mini-lesson that will walk you through new and unique rudiments and give you tons of new ammo and licks for your bag of tricks...all performed on Mikes "Mean Orange" Shine snare! Don't worry though, we left out the boring and lame stuff and let Mike focus on giving you useful and killer tools (explained in "real world" terms) that you don't get anywhere else! We have some amazing news together with Mike here soon as well, so please keep your eyes pealed.
In the meantime, we are going to belaunching a new section of our site very soon (its almost done) devoted specifically to Mikes Shine lessons. Also be sure to check out Mikes website for tons of other tutorials and lessons at MikesLessons.com!

Shine Drums artist Katy Perry is taking part in the first ever Youtube LIVE STREAM on Saturday November 22, 2008. Katy Perry will be performing as well as Akon, Will.I.Am and Joe Satriani and a ton of other amazing artists. It is being described as part concert, part variety show and part party. NOVEMBER 12, 2008 - New Third Eye Blind EP Release...
Our good friends (and Shine Drums artists) Third Eye Blind have been hard at work for sometime at their studio in San Francisco working on new material for their upcoming 2009 release and a taste of it has finally been announced and is due to drop on November 18, 2008 through iTunes, Amazon etc! The new digital EP (recorded with Shine Drums) includes three new tracks along with additional video content and will be followed by a full-length release, Ursa Major, in 2009. Get out and get this new EP because its amazing!
